Best sellers that are now vintage will no longer have WhatsApp
Starting December 2024, WhatsApp will no longer be compatible with some devices that use outdated operating systems. This decision seeks to guarantee better performance and greater security for users. The affected devices, considered iconic in their time, will now be out of support as they will not be able to run the latest versions of the application.
Among the most prominent mobiles who will be left without WhatsApp are:
- iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c: These two phones are popular Apple models that will no longer be able to run the application due to lack of compatibility with iOS 12.
- HTC One X: One of the Android models that set a trend, but is now obsolete.
- Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note II: It was a real best-seller of the Galaxy line that no longer supports recent updates.
- Samsung Galaxy Ace 3: Known for its accessibility, this device will no longer be able to access WhatsApp forever.
- LG Nexus 4: Part of the collaboration between Google and LG, it is now incompatible with the latest versions.

Why does WhatsApp stop working on some phones?
WhatsApp updates its platform frequently to incorporate new features, improve security and ensure optimal performance.
