To carry out the test, the guys at TechSpot have used the most powerful graphics card that we can currently find on the market and which, fortunately, is not from Intel or AMD, which could be an advantage in terms of performance. We talk about the NVIDIA RTX 4090.
Intel Core i9-14900K processor has been used with memory DDR5-7200 while the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D with memory DDR5-6000. In both cases, the tests have been carried out only in 1080p resolution and using the highest graphical settings available in the configuration options of each game.
Among the 45 games that have been used to make this performance comparison is Cyberpunk 2077, Gears 5Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, starfieldForza Horizon 5, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024Counter-Strike 2, Baldur’s Gate 3Fortnite, Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 inter alia.
