However, Intel took a long time to optimize the operation of these, so, for users who were interested in buying a graph, Intel was always the last option, despite being the most attractive offer on the market for price.
At the end of December, Intel launched the Intel Arc B-580the first graph of Intel’s second generation and the one that followed the Intel Arc B-570 At the beginning of the year. Unlike the previous generation, Intel has lated this graph with very optimized software at a very attractive price: 329 euros.
In fact, INTEL ARC B-580 offers a performance somewhat higher than the NVIDIA RTX 4060so, if you are looking for a cheap graph with decent performance, this new option is raised as a more than interesting option performance-price ratio.
Xess, Intel DLSS and FSR
If we talk about Xess, we talk about a technology that, like NVIDIA DLSS and FSR of AMD (and Pssr of the PlayStation 5 Pro), makes use of the Artificial intelligence To climb the image and increase the number of FPS.
With the launch of Intel Arc Alchemist graphs with XE HS architecture, the company presented the first generation of Intel xess (Xe Super Sampling). Like Nvidia and AMD, with the new generation of graphics, Intel presented with the Intel Arc Battlemage, Xess 2a second generation that offers a greater number of improvements with respect to the first generation.
However, being the ugly duckling of the graphics market, developers are taking more than you would expect to offer support for this scaling and FPS generation technology. Although later than one would expect, when this technology has been in the market for more than 2 years, it already has support for More than 150 games.
More than 150 games are already compatible with Intel Xess
The Intel Gaming account in X has just announced that, today, Intel Xess technology is already available in more than 150 games. If we talk about Xess, we have to talk about Xess 1 and Xess 2.
We’ve hit the Mark on 150+ Games with #xess support, with mree on the way!

The most recent version of this technology, Xess 2, for now, is only available in just two games: F1 2024 and Marvel Rivalsalthough the company states that it is already working with developers to expand support to more titles. Hopefully, now that Intel has launched a graph with sale options in the market, the support for Xess in the games not late as much as now.
Intel Xess 2 is only compatible with the second generation of Intel’s graphics, something that should not be surprised since this limitation has also traditionally seen both in AMD and Nvidia.
