Intel raises the price of its non-K Arrow Lake processors

After a long wait, since the end of October, the range of processors is already on the market Arrow Lake from Intel, a range of processors that has left a bittersweet taste among users who were waiting for them like May water to renew their PC, since the performance is lower than the previous generation, but they have a power consumption very restrained.

While it is true that the Intel Core i9-14900 is a beast in terms of consumption, it is also a beast in terms of performance. The ideal would have been that, at least, the Arrow Lake would have offered lower consumption with equal or slightly higher performance.

The Arrow Lake processor models that we can currently find on the market are the K and KF versions. By early 2025, the company led by Pat Gelsinger is expected to launch the rest of the processor in this range.

If you are thinking of renewing your old processor for the ones that Intel plans to launch on the market in a few months, you can now get an idea of what the joke will cost you. PC-Canada already has the new ones listed non-K Arrow Lake processors from Intel, which allows us to know both the models that will hit the market and their price.

The Core Ultra 200 for non-K desktops will be more expensive

Regarding its price, once again, Intel continues to do its thing and, with each new generation of processors, it takes the opportunity to raise the price compared to the previous generation. The problem is that, with this generation, we cannot use the motherboard that we already have, when we release the socket LGA 1851which means making an additional investment.

As we can see in the image above, converting the prices to US dollars, we can see how the Intel Core Ultra 9 285 non-K It will be priced at $600, which is $11 more than the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K and $21 more than its predecessor, the Intel Core i9-14900.

Regarding the Intel Core Ultra 7 265 non-Kthis will hit the market for $416, $22 more than the K version of this same processor and which is the same price at which the Intel Core i7-14100 the one who arrives to replace.

Arrow Lake non-K processors price

As for the Intel Core Ultra 5 225 (this model is not in version K), its price will be 261 dollars, 30 dollars more than the Intel Core i5-14400 of the previous generation. The F version of this same processor, equivalent to the Intel Core i5-14400Fwill be priced at $244, $34 more.

From this list, it is striking that the Intel Core Ultra 245 and the Intel Core Ultra 235 do not appear listed. It is likely that this website does not have information about these or that Intel wants to delay its launch to mid-20225, beyond the first week of 2025, at CES 2025, when its presentation and subsequent market launch is scheduled.

The prices that PC-Canada has published are not the official ones announced by Intel, so they may vary in the coming weeks, but it is an indication that Intel is not thinking of reducing the price of its processors.
