Upgrade the storage drive to expand storage space and/or improve the read and write speed It is a fundamental change that we must all make during the useful life of our equipment, whether laptop or desktop, since much of its operation depends on it.
If the storage unit has little space or is very slow, the process of starting the computer and launching any application or game can take forever. Due to its importance as components of a PCpractically every week we publish some news related to new drives, especially SSDs.
The latest manufacturer that has just presented new units of SSD storage for PCs and laptops it is Team Group. Specifically through the games division T-FORCE. We are talking about the T-FORCE GA PRO PCIe 5.0.
New T-Force SSD storage units for gaming
T-FORCE’s new SSD series offers a maximum read speed of up to 10,000 MB/s making use of the Gen 5×4 interfacemaking it one of the best options currently available on the market to get the most out of the latest generation processors and boards.
As both the reading and writing speed of a device increases SSD drivethe temperature also increases when it is working at full capacity for long periods, so generally, this type of units includes a heat sink.
The new T-FORCE GA PRO from Team Group uses a graphene plate to keep the temperature controlled when the drive is working continuously for long periods, a patented design that allows you to get the most out of the drive by taking advantage of the PCIe 5 interface and support for the NVMe 2.0 protocol.
The graphene plate that includes this SSD is compatible with other methods of refrigeration that some manufacturers offer natively on their motherboards in order to optimize their operation and offer greater operating stability.
This storage unit is equipped with the IG5666 chip from InnoGrit with a low-power multi-core design that automatically adjusts performance through a series of internal temperature sensors.
The T-FORCE GA PRO SSD includes the function Security Isolation which allows you to isolate yourself from external attacks in order to guarantee the security of the data stored inside against any type of threat. In addition, it also has the technology 4K Low Density Parity Code (LDPC) to reduce the error rate. Obviously, it is also compatible with SMART to monitor the real-time health of the unit.
During the manufacturing process of this unit, Team Group states that no lead neither halogens to comply with RoHS environmental regulations and has recyclable packaging. Ideally, the packaging would be made from recyclable materials as well.
Price and availability
The new line of T-FORCE GA PRO SSDs from Team Group is available in versions of 1TB and 2TB. The manufacturer has not yet announced when it will hit the market, but if it does not want to miss out on Christmas shopping, it will most likely do so in the coming weeks, before the end of 2024.
