The truth is that at this point in life, we are all a little tired of always seeing the same thing in relation to PC cases: tempered glass to see the inside, RGB lights everywhere, aggressive and even daring designs… but reality The thing is, unless you set up a “gaming room” as such, it is something you like to see but not have. Most of us prefer boxes that are a little more modest and elegant, like the ProArt PA401 that has been presented ASUS recently, in our opinion, it seems the most elegant box that we have seen this year.
What is also true is that lately many manufacturers are encouraging themselves to incorporate wood as part of their PC cases. And certain types of wood and painted with certain tones give an elegance to the equipment that could hardly be achieved with metal, glass or plastic. Of course, if we are telling you this it is because one of the main characteristics of the ProArt PA401 is precisely its wooden front. But let’s stop anticipating events and let’s see it.
This is the most elegant box from ASUS
Just because a box has a sober and elegant design does not mean at all that it is not designed to house a high-performance PC inside, and as you can imagine this is the case. The ASUS ProArt PA401 is compatible with ATX format motherboards and below, supports radiators up to 240 mm, power supplies up to 170 mm long, graphics cards up to 315 mm long and processor heatsinks up to 160 mm high, so there really is nothing stopping you from installing high-end hardware without problems. By the way, it also supports installing the graphics vertically if you want.
In addition, it incorporates dust filters both on the front and in the lower area of the case, it supports the installation of multiple cooling options, including two fans on the front (it already comes with two pre-installed on the front, with a very unusual size , 160 mm, although it also supports 140 mm), two more on the roof (120 or 140 mm) and one 120 mm in the rear.
Among its outstanding features, we have a tool-free closing system for the side covers, an integrated rehobus for up to 5 fans, anchoring systems for 2.5-inch storage units and a rear bracket to install the power supply from the outside and make it easy to install. easier to do it.
As you can see in the image above, this new box is available in two versions, one with a tempered glass side panel if you want to see the internal hardware, and another in the old fashioned way, with a metal side that hides everything and that , from our point of view, suits the design very well.
As for the price, we will have to wait for it to arrive in Spain, but we have already seen it in stores in the United Kingdom for 85 pounds, approximately 95-100 euros in its version with a tempered glass side (and it is expected that the version “Metal” is a little cheaper). In any case, it shouldn’t take long to reach stores in Spain.
