The new TeamGroup RAM is faster if you use 2 modules instead of 4

However, it does not happen with all memory modules and we find an example in the new modules that TeamGroup has just announced. We are talking about the model T-Force XTREEM CKD DDR5 with overclocking capabilities and can reach up to 9,600 MHz on motherboards with the Z890 chip compatible with the Intel Core Ultra 200 processors that the blue company has just presented.

T-Force XTREEM CKD DDR5 memories from TeamGroup

According to this manufacturer after different performance tests on the new boards with the Z890 chip, the T-Force XTREEM CKD DDR5 RAM memory modules offer a performance of up to 9,600MHz with two slots and 8,800MHz using a combination of 4 slots as we can see in the images we show you below.

These new memory modules exceed the specifications of frequency from JEDEC, the body in charge of developing open standards for memories of all types. This performance has been achieved using CKD and Intel XMP profiles on motherboards with Intel’s Z890 chip, allowing users to overclock faster DDR5 speeds with a single click.

This is possible because T-Force compatible with the JEDEC standard.

TeamGroup DDR5 Memory

TeamGroup says it uses patented IC verification technology to ensure module quality and reduces both power consumption and heat generation to deliver the best performance without compromising its integrity.

These new memory modules have a heat sink 2 mm to prevent the temperature from rising excessively and affecting their performance when they are performing intensive tasks.

Price and availability

TeamGroup has announced these new DDR5 RAM memory modules compatible with the new Intel processors and motherboards with the Intel Z890 chip.

If we take into account that this new series of boards will hit the market on October 24, the date on which the new Intel Core Ultra 200 processors will also do so, it is more than likely that these new modules will arrive on a similar date if TeamGroup does not wants to miss this opportunity for enthusiasts to build their new PC with the latest on the market.

Regarding the price, we find ourselves with the same problem, since it has not been made known either. Most likely, before October 24, TeamGroup will announce both the price and availability on the market.
