They have not yet launched the Intel Arc B570, but we already know its performance

The Intel Arc B580 is not the only graphics card of this second generation where the Intel Arc B570a graph with lower performance and price that will arrive on the market tomorrow, January 15, and of which, as is usual, we already know what its performance will be.

Performance of the Intel Arc B570

Once again, the information about the benchmark of this new Intel model comes from Geekbench in the OpenCL test, a test whose results may vary depending on the equipment’s hardware, so this test only allows us to get an idea of what the performance is. performance that it can offer us.

Taking into account that the Intel Arc B570 has lower performance than the Intel Arc B580, it was expected that the performance of the former would be lower than the model already available on the market since last December.

The most recent test of the Intel Arc B580 available on Geekbench gives it a score of 98,343 points. The score obtained in the test already available on this Arc B570 platform reaches 85,716 points, a difference of 12% that, at the moment, we do not know if it will also show up in video game performance in a similar way.

The results of this test contradict that published by Intel. While the Intel Arc B570 is spec’d to run at a maximum of 2,500 MHz, this test indicates 2,750MHzso it is a customized AIB model from one of the different manufacturers that, during its presentation, announced that they would bet on it, information that, unfortunately, is not shown in this test.

Intel Arc B580 vs Intel Arc B570

Both the Intel Arc B580 and Intel Arc B570 use Battlemage architecture with which Intel wants to gain a foothold in the graphics segment after the disastrous launch of the previous generation with Alchemist architecture.

In terms of specifications, the Intel Arc B580 has 12GB GDDR6 memory (at the moment NVIDIA is the only manufacturer that has adopted the GDDR7 standard in its new graphics), 20 Xe cores, 160 computing units, 2670 MHz clock speed, a 192-bit memory bus, a bandwidth of 456 GB/s and a TDP of 190W.

If we talk about the specifications of the Intel Arc B570, we talk about 10GB GDDR6 memory with a 160-bit memory bus and a bandwidth of 360 GB/s. It has 18 Xe cores, 144 computing units, a TDP of 150W and has a clock speed of 2,500 MHz.

Will this new Intel graphics card have the same success in the market as the Intel Arc B580? Until the first gaming performance tests are published, we will have no doubts, but, as an entry graphics card, for now it looks good.
