A while ago, Cooler Master presented a complete PC in the form of a sneaker in a tribute to the classic sneakers (as sneakers are called in English). This model, which had a price of 7,000 euros, was never marketed and was presented as a curious way to build a PC.
However, although it has never reached the market, the Cooler Master website still had a section reserved for this design. It seems that they were not sure if this box was going to be released on the market and they have finally decided to try their luck, although with an important change.
You won’t find a more curious PC case than this one
As we mentioned above, when Cooler Master introduced this design, the hardware along with the case was priced at $6,999, a price that obviously very few people were willing to pay. Shortly after they launched a version with lower features for 3,500 euros on the market, a version that did reach the market and that can still be purchased with the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D / Intel Core i9-14900KF and the NVIDIA RTX 4070 graphics
Cooler Master wants more users to be able to enjoy this design and has launched a new version of this slipper case for PC that eliminates all components, that is, the graphhe hard drive and of the RAM memory.
The only thing found inside the Cooler Master Sneaker Mini ATX motherboarda system of AIO liquid cooling 360 mm, a 120mm fan and one SFX power supply 850W Gold to extract hot air from inside. Includes a PCIe 4.0×16 riser cable and a ARGB controller to manage lighting.
The main negative point of this box is that it only has space for a storage unit 2.5 inches, something especially striking considering the dimensions of the box. The box size is 650mm x 306mm x 651mm. The space available for the graphics card is sufficient for a model that occupies up to 3 slots and has a maximum length of 304 mm.
Needless to say, except for the Mini ATX motherboard, the rest of the components inside this box are from this manufacturer, so we shouldn’t have any problems with them. The only problem when buying this PC case is assessing whether it really costs the 1,000 euros it costs. Chances are, some sneaker enthusiast would agree.
In the video we leave you below, you can see the installation process of all the components that were inside the full version, that is, the complete PC that had a price of $6,999.
